Concert Series – In the Park Festival  - Sefton Park, Liverpool, UK

Sefton Park, Liverpool

Saturday 15th August 2026

The times for the event at Sefton Park are:

Saturday 15th August 2026                4.00pm - 10.00pm (Last entry 7:30pm)

Please note sound checks may take place from 6.00pm and 8.00pm on Friday 14th August and from 12.00pm on show day.

To enable the event to take place safely we have had to implement some parking and traffic management restrictions. These will include:

***Fireworks***

Please note there will be NO fireworks after tonights show

  • ‘No waiting cones’ will be positioned around the edge of the park to protect junctions and in areas to allow traffic to move freely around the park.  They will also be placed around road junctions to protect access. Additional car parking areas will be managed, and capacity monitored.

  • Greenbank Lane will be closed at Greenbank Road, apart from access to residents and businesses only.

  • The section of the park between Croxteth Gate and the roundabout at Aigburth Drive will be closed to general traffic and used as car parking. This will also be used for Shuttle Bus operation.

  • Closures in and around Aigburth Drive/Lark Lane will be in place for most of the day to assist and make safe pedestrian movement to and from the event.  Diversion routes will be in place during these periods, residents/business access will be maintained.

Traffic restrictions will apply from 6am on a rolling basis every 2 hours before the event and until approximately 1 hour after the show finishes.

On Thursday 13th August & Friday 14th August 2026, additional restrictions between Aigburth Drive and Croxteth Gate will be implemented from 9.30am until the end of the event.

On Saturday 15th August the same closure will be implemented from 6.00am until the end of the event. In addition there will be temporary traffic restrictions in place including the closure of Southwood Road (with no access to Alpass Road or Melly Road), and Bryanston Road to St Michaels Station.

We would advise businesses to arrange deliveries prior to 10.00am or one hour after the event time to avoid any likely disruption.

The Traffic Manager will be available to discuss any issues between 6.00pm and 7.30pm on Tuesday 11th August at the car park opposite Croxteth Gate.

Please note that whilst the site is being built for the event and again on the de-rig, there may be areas of the park that are closed to the general public. This is a legal requirement of the event organisers and is done for the safety of the public using the park during these periods.

If you have any further enquiries or issues over the event weekend please email info@cream.co.uk or Tel:  0207 688 8912 and our Resident Liaison team will be able to assist. The residents phone line will be operational between the hours of 8am-8pm from Wednesday 5th August until Monday 24th August, and operational between the hours of 8am until midnight on Saturday 15th August.

To avoid any road closure delays, please ensure you keep this letter in your vehicle or alternatively carry with you a utility bill or ID with proof of your address.
